I'v been surfing for 3 years and im 14 this year im fit but i want to train harder for my surfing for surf comps and big wave what are some good but hard ways to train.|||go to a pool and attach your leash to the ladder, and paddle hard in short sprints.
also lung capacity. go to the bottom of the pool with a brick or rock and hold your breath.
lastly do sit ups and short fast runs.
that's all i can think of.
ps. work on balance as well.
keep it real man|||if you are near a beach you can run on the beach in soft sand to build up endurance and leg strength. Then push ups and sit ups are always good. You should work on holding your breath in a local pool.
Work on strengthening your upper back by doing series of bench dips. That is pretty much my routine before I start the season.|||GET TO THE GYM..TAKE A HUGE ROCK AND WALK WITH IT ON THE OCEAN FLOOR, THIS IS ONLY IF YOU HAVE A NICE CLEAR OCEAN BREAK!
