I wear a wetsuit when I go surfing, and I surf pretty much every day. However, since the past couple of days, my armpits have been chafing from paddling. I think that it's the wetsuit rubbing against the skin of my armpit. It's gotten to the point where it's very painful to apply deodorant or paddle. I've tried wearing a rash guard beneath my wetsuit, but that didn't help.|||you can probably stick on some fabric to the inside of the wetsuit which should cover the part which is irritating, which is probably a seam, which should at least lessen the irritation.
if its still uncomfortable then try a thicker rash vest, make sure that the wetsuit/rash vest are not bunching up at the joint as that can irritate.|||Simply apply vaseline to the area that gets the rash before you put your suit on. Staying out of the inside where the water is all churned up with sand will help also.|||Sorry that happens to you, but go to a doctor he or she can help you out. Plus, don't put this all over the internet, well no answer just advice.|||Sometimes in stores they sell lotions that help with chafing. I would say maybe get a thicker rash guard, but depending on how bad it is this may not help
