Is surfing harder for girls or harder if you start later?

I'm going to a camp in Costa Rica. There we will learn how to surf. what is the chance of my survival in class. We only have 3 days of surfing lessons. to what point of expertise should i be at by the end of the 3 days. for beginners: does it kill your muscles, do you need a lot of muscles, really strong?|||You should understand the basics of surfing after three days. However it will take some time to master them. I would recommend you start swimming laps in a pool so that you are comfortable in the water etc. Although it is different being in the ocean vs. the pool it will help. By swimming you are also building the muscles you use for paddling.

SO U WILL MOST LIKELY BE UP AND RIDING WAVES WITHIN THE FIRST DAY.%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; IF YOU ARE JUST STARTING THEN YEAH YOUR MUSCLES WILL GET SORE BUT THEN IT WILL WEAR OFF. THE MORE YOU SURF THE MORE YOU GET USED TO THE SORENESS.... AND YOU DON'T REALLY NEED ALOT OF MUSCLES WHEN YOU START OUT, BUT YOU DO NEED ENOUGH SO YOU CAN PUSH YOURSELF UP ON THE BOARD.|||You'll learn quick! especially if you're already athletic. Have fun!
