What sites and blogs do the surfing community communicate most on?

I'm looking to find out as much about the online surfing community as I can. Can anyone recommend their favorite blogs, twitter handles, or sites that you find most comprehensive? Which ones are most popular? Thanks!|||Probably your best bet is to locate the site targeted at your local region. If you want general sites, I've found those below are often interesting and have comprehensive information on a regular basis.

The #1 surfing blog site on yahoo is worldwidesurfers. It started out for surfers in the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia communities, but now has members from all over the world, including a couple of surfing hall of fame members, posting there on a regular basis.

Another good site is google groups alt.surfing. This is the oldest blog site. There is a crew posting on the site that has used it for years. I first posted on the site when it started up around 1993 or 1994.

Second light is a great site for the Florida crowd. Lots of interesting posts in a number of catagories. Oregon has a similar site for locals called the Oregon Surf Report.

The Glide has some interesting posts and information, particularly if you like to follow the pro circuit.

For shaping info, the Swaylocks forum is definately the place to visit.|||Can you please take my survey regarding blogs.
