How do I get my coworker to do THEIR work and STOP surfing the internet?

Over the past few weeks I have had to take on more and more work due to my coworkers lack of productivity. He is spending more and more time emailing and surfing dating sites/networking sites (he is single) and not doing the work he is assigned to do. It is REALLY starting to piss me off. I work in a very small branch office so reporting him to the supervisor would be obvious.


Any help would be appreciated.

Tell him your tired of his crap.|||You say the company is small, but hopefully there is an HR dept. which you can go to, without retaliation, by law. The discovery has to be a surprise, so they can find all this info on his computer, so be stealthy. go to whomever you can trust, preferable the human resources dept, as they have to, by law, look into the situation, do something about and not give out that it was you. I am unsure why you are responsible for work which he is assigned? Hopefully your work has a strict policy against surfing, otherwise, you may have to pursue this differently.

Perhaps also indicate that your ready to take it a step further (to the supervisor) if his inconsideration continues. Follow thur especially if his attiude is negative. People like him don't last, when some one needs to get let go, it will be the unproductive web surfer, not the lady that takes on more work, and handles it with professionalism.|||block the websites.. or just snitch on him if its that much of a problem.
