I soon plan on getting a mobile phone with a built-in Internet browser. It will also include some of the best IM's around where I can chat with others anywhere in the world. So what are the advantages and disadvantages of surfing the web on that device?|||...Hey, Brian....Ok, well some of the "advantages" are that: You can go online virtually anywhere; that You can check Your Emails (anytime without actually going onto the Computer); and You can usually send/respond with basic text messages..."Disadvantages" are that: You are quite limited (in most cases), to what type of Text, You use; NO Spell-Checking (in most cases); You will have difficulty going online to many sites (including most any Pen-Pal sites Etc.); %26amp; You will not be able to check "offline" messages; nor will You be able to IM (unless You pay extra for that privilege)...Hope that this has helped You...|||Small screen, internet security, slow speeds, hard to control.|||Did you see the $62 thousand dollar bill one man got for downloading a movie file using his cell phone? Might want to be careful|||Pros U Can surf Anywhere and everywhere
Cons Small Screen and Expensive|||I don't really care about the pros because they are always to our advantage, I really worry about the cons ,I just read this article and it says that if there is a power outage it will loose connection and the other is that it would limit or make it impossible to be reached or reach someone in case of an emergency , unless they will come up with something a little better in that perspective I would not consider it .

http://ezinearticles.com/?The-Pros-And-C鈥?/a>|||I agree with vakko's post, the screen is small requiring a lot of scrolling to read text.|||Pros; freedom to surf outside the home, research anything anytime anywhere. Cons; surfing can be distrating. can cause trafic accidents if surfing in your car.|||Unless you get a good subscription plan, they are damned expensive.
