What sport is more dangerous, Big Wave Surfing or Bull Riding?

I just moved to a rural area, and I got into a debate with a friend about Surfing and Bull-riding. We both have our own views on the subject, but it would be interesting to see how others think about this.|||There are far more injuries per participant every year from bull riding (in fact from all rodeo sports) than there are from surfing. Every rodeo rider I've ever met or known about has had at least one pretty bad injury from competing. I've only ever met one surfer who had an injury, and that was caused by colliding with another surfer. Hitting water is a lot more forgiving than hitting dirt. Plus a board is not consciously trying to kill you like a bronco or bull is doing.

Maybe if surfers rode on the backs of sharks instead of boards there would be equal danger.|||Well I said dangerous in the question. Meaning Life threatening. Yes it seems easier to get injured bullriding, but surfing is more fatal.
